I was just at the Democratic Underground site....

I was just at the Democratic Underground and wanted to leave a comment on their views of the election coverage, when I read the rules their site and then I read this section:

WHO IS WELCOME ON DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND, AND WHO IS NOT

We welcome Democrats of all stripes, along with other progressives who will work with us to achieve our shared goals.

This is a "big tent" message board. We welcome a wide range of progressive opinion. You will likely encounter many points of view here that you disagree with.

We ban conservative disruptors who are opposed to the broad goals of this website. If you think overall that George W. Bush is doing a swell job, or if you wish to see Republicans win, or if you are generally supportive of conservative ideals, please do not register to post, as you will likely be banned.

If you have been banned from Democratic Underground, you are not permitted to log on again using a different username. Previously banned members will be immediately banned, regardless of behavior.

People who repeatedly and willfully break the rules, or who generally engage in rude, antisocial behavior, will be banned. It doesn't matter if you are a progressive or a long-term member of this board.

Now this definitely a openminded group, they only want their view points and No others? and who said that fascism is dead.

36 to 40 people killed during the Iraq Elections...

The Iraq Elections are done, And the winners are the people of Iraq. The terrorist tried to disrupt the elections buy shooting, lobbing mortar rounds, and throwing grenades at the polls; yet the Iraqi People at the peril of their Lives came out to vote for freedom.36 to 40 people gave their lives just because they wanted democracy.they gave their lives for a chance to have a say in their country's affairs, and they died in the face of an cowardly enemy that wants them to be controlled slaves of the state. We have witnessed an historic occaision today, that we as Americans take for granted.

We the people of the United States, have never faced the dangers of those faced by the Iraqi people, the insurgents threatened mass attacks upon those who planned to vote, yet those brave men and woman defied the threats and showed the world that they were willing to risk their lives for a concept that we in the US take for granted, I would face that same threat here myself, if someone threatened an attack if we in the US decided to vote I am willing to risk my life to cast my vote. If someone were to try and stop me from voting there would be a dead body laying on the ground in front of the poll, that is how seriously I take my right to vote. Now if you are thinking that taking a life in order to vote is to much then you really need to take a look at the American Soldiers, Airmen, Marines, and Sailors that have fought, fallen and made the ultimate devotion of sacrifice in the course of American History to protect that right for you and these people in Iraq.

Let me make this loud and clear... THE PRICE OF FREEDOM HAS ALWAYS BEEN PAID FOR WITH BLOOD AND LIVES, THAT IS ALWAYS THE WAY IT HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS THE WAY IT SHALL BE. If you can not appreciate this fact, then you are a UNAPPRECIATIVE piece of SOCIALIST DEMONCRAP like Teddy Kennedy.

Comments, differences of opinion, speak up.

A historic Day in Iraq....

The Iraqi people are taking part in an historic occaision, the building of a free society. the elections to create a government that will create a constitution to dtermine the path of the will of the people. No longer do they have to see one name on a ballot that says "Saddam Hussein Yes/No" . They have the choice of a better and more prosperous future. So far the voting has been slow due to fears of terrorist sabotage. But as the day goes on the people will defy the monster will and make the choice of a free people. They will build a Nation that will be the envy of many middle eastrn nations.

What is the purpose of Unemployent insurance anyway...

In order to get treament at greatly reduced cost I have to get verification that I am unemployed, they told me that I had to have this proof from the State of Missouri Office of Unemployment Insurance. no other sources would suffice. So I called that state office, The condescending voice at the other end, after I got through the automated press one for english press two for spanish, what is your social security number , have you work at all in the last 18 monthes please hold for the next available representive who shouldn't be working because he is a stoopid liberal that majored in social engineering for the Demoncrapic Party to spread your hard earned dollars to those who don't deserve it types for the third time responded. Hear is a Small excerpt from this conversation:

Social Engineer:(in a tired momnotone voice) What is your name last name first, first name middle iniitial.

Me: Kerr, Evan E.

SE: What is your Social Security Number.

Me: XXX-XX-XXXX

SE: It says here that you have not worked since October of 2002, is that correct?

Me: Sir, let me make this very clear to you , I am not calling to make a claim to this worthless program. I am calling to get verification that I am UNEMPLOYED that is it.

SE: Well since you put it that way, you wern't eligible for unenployment anyway, you have to have been employed for 12 months before you can make your claim .

Me Sir if that is the case I want the money that I paid into this worthless program since 1984 returned to me forth with and still want my UNEMPLOYMENT verification.

SE: But this money is given to those that have lost thier jobs....

Me: Sir, you don't want to hear my views on this communist piece of sh*t program do you? To bad I will tell you anyway, I have paid into this communist ideal of share the wealth crap for to many years now as it is, now acording to the regualtions of the hospital I have to provide verification that I am UNEMPLOYED to recieve a Discount or a grant to receive surgery for the hernia keeping me from getting employed to support those you are giving my money to, now do you want to redistirbute the money that I would potentially earn or do I have to speak to the other worthless social engineer that is posing as your supervisor to get my verification of UNEMPLOYMENT?

SE you Aren't applying for unemployment benifits?

Me No, I am not applying for UNEMPLOYMENT benifits, I just want the verification that I am UNEMPLOYED.

SE: Why?

There are times where you have to bitch slap people upside the head (preferably with a LARGE CLUB) this social engineer Would be one of them.

Me: Sir did you inherit your intellect or did you have to work on it?

SE: I inherited it, Why?

Me: that Explains alot about your delaying the verification of UNEMPLOYMENT letter for me.

SE: all you want is the verification of unemployment?

Me: yes.

SE: you aren't filing for unemployment benefits?

Me: Is there someone with a higher IQ than your's that I can talk to about getting verification of UNEMPLOYMENT letter?

SE: You'll get the Unemployment Verification Letter in the mail in about a week.

Me Thank you (click)

All that trouble just to get a letter to verify that I am unemployed, I don't want the benifits, they wouldn't be enough to cover I would need to take care of anyway, Why is there these snobbish social engineers/workers anyway they get paid to do what exactly? I had to sit and listen to that automated machine explain to me what I had to do to receive the benefits, I know it is there in case you need it, but to tell the truth I really would like to see it dissolved, it (like the other communist welfare traps) is the most abused system in America, I don't think having a safety net is the way to encourage people to work. If you want an income then get a job. I don't like going the way I have to go to get medical attention, unfortunately it is all i have to get me back in the saddle and employed.

until tomorrow,

Today Is My Birthday...

Today is my birthday, I view it as no big deal really, though others in my family see it as something to celebrate, that it is something to throw a big party for. I personally don't see the poiint. I usually now spend the time alone in reflection of the last year and try to find something to make my next year better. I plan to make myself somthing to eat and then go online and surf the net and then go to bed. To me the party is a waste of time and effort I much rather be alone to come to terms of 39 years on this planet.

So when your birthday comes 'round, what do you do?

Tanis and R. Lee Ermey Posted by Hello
I am going in the hospital for outpatient surgery on my double hernia on 2 Febuary. they said that this will be a two part operation. since the hernia is on both sides.of my body. This is the first time I will have surgery on my body. I have always tried to stay away from the doctors as much as possible, Mainly for thier safety, I have a BIG problem with needles, So big that I will respond with force and have tried to stick them with the needles before they try to stick me. The scary part is that I black out when this occurs. When the doctors tell me that they need to give me a shot or they have to draw blood, I advise them that they will need people to hold me down for thier safety, they usually roll thier eyes thinking that I am telling a story to scare them, as is usually the case after the event that they tell me not to come back after the experience of truth of my situation. It is a blind rage that I can not stop for some reason.

The last time I went to the doctor they needed to draw blood from my Arm, I gave them the standard warning that made them pause and tell me that I should come back later when they could get the manpower to proceed with the procedure. the next week Tanis two nusres and two doctors were ready. I laid down crossed My Legs and had tanis put my left arm in a wrist lockthe doctors kept hands on my knees to keep me from kicking out and the nurse kept my right arm in a straight position so the other nurse could stick the needle in. I turned my head and closed my eyes. They put a squeeze ball in my right hand, I guess for stress relief. The nurse with the needle stuck me and the rage hit, the only thing I saw was red.Tanis was struggling to keep control of my left
arm while was trying to get the needle. the doctors were doing a good job keeping my legs from kicking out.
after about ten seconds they were done drawing my blood. the nurse left quickly and thedoctors were praising me for the good job when I just looked up and in a quiet ice cold breath said " leave".

They took thier time leaving when Tanis told them, " you might want to step out of the room and let him cool off."

The Doctor asked why, then turned to see the look I was giving him, The look of a enraged tired person ready to commit mayhem, The look I give Criminally Stoopid people when they cross the line on the posts that I have worked. The doctor finally got the point and said, "right gotcha" and hurriedly left the room to give me time to cool down.

This is not something that I like, but it is something that happens, I try to keep control of myself when doing things like this for my health, is there any way to keep this from happening again? in my case, I doubt it.

until tomorrow...

Gunny And Me II...

1800 hrs. We arrived at the book signing with R. Lee Ermey at the Uptown Theater here in Kansas City, MO. R. Lee hasn't arrived yet but will be on time when the program is to begin at 1900 hrs. In the mean time refreshments are available in the cash bar, Cananyone tell me why cash bars are so exspensive? I spent $6.00 on two 20 ounce bottles of water and $2.00 on a pretzle. we spent some time talking to some people about the gunney and a liottle time perusing the book "Mail Call". It is a good book and well worth the $17.95 Tanis spent for it.

1915 hrs R. Lee Ermety is announced He comes on the Stage to the podium and Greets the audiance with " I am Gunnery Seargent Hartman and I am you Senior Drill Instructor. From Now on you will only speak when you are spoken to and the first and last words out of your filthy sewers will be sir, do you Maggots understand that."

The Audiance responds "Sir, yes Sir!"

R. Lee " BullShit, I Cant Hear You! Sound Off Like You Got A Pair"

The Audience responds Louder " Sir Yes Sir!"

"If you ladies leave my island, if you survive recruit training, you will be a weapon, you will be a minister of death praying for war, But until that time you are nothing but pukes, you are the ;lowesst form of life on earth, you not even human ..um.... this is a Family Show!"

the audience Laughs and applauds.

He begins by telling the audiance that it is good to back home where he grew up. when he was picked up he was asked what he would like to do before he went to the book signing.. " I wopuld like to go to the farm I was raised." So they went to the Address that he provided and found that the farm was replaced with the Kansas Speedway. So he gave an address of the house he lived in after moving from Emporia KS. He was plesantly surpirised to find it was in better condition than he remebered it to be in when his family first moved in. "Ah, the Nostolgia." he said.

He described his visits to afghanistan and Iraq and the morale of the servicemen and women and compared them to the current attitude seen here in America. " I feel that the morals of this country are slipping, but that in adversity the younger people in our services have pulled together and done what had to be done for the security of this country.and for that we should applaud them."

He mentioned that he has been in 75 movies he told us about the ways he auditioned and got the roles in those movies. He made great sacrefices for those roles. He described how he got Mail Call to Television and made it a hit that the History channel is proud of.

He also spoke of the VFW's Unmet Needs Program and that it is a good morale booster for our troops in providing help to thier famlilies whille they are fighting for our country. if you can please donate to this very worthy program. you can view thier web page here.

The effort he made to reach out to his fans, each one of them is impressive he made you feel that you were part of his life. he made you welcome to be there, and he was very humbled to be in our presence. I am impressed by his sincerity and his appreciation of the people who helped him be the success he is. As the people went to have thier books signed he reached out to them , and thanked them for thier support. He is truly a man of the people.

It was a fun night, Thank you to Tanis, for this birthday present.

I think this going to be a great time. the tickets for this event are a gift to me from my girlfriend Tanis. Thank you , Love.

R. Lee Ermey is doing this event as Spokesman for the VFW's Unmet Needs Program . "Unmet Needs," launched in June 2004, helps military families meet unexpected financial challenges that are further complicated by a family member's deployment. More than 100 families have received grants that have
helped to defray the costs of unexpected home or auto repairs, mortgage payments, child care and medical expenses and/or deductibles, groceries and more.

This may be a birthday present to me, but it is a cause that is worth supporting for those families with loved ones away in the field. Support them and the troops by visiting the link at the very least.

I am going to throw "Full Metal Jacket" in the DVD Player.

Until tommorrow.

How Long Would You Wait in line to See A Movie?...

The line to see Star Wars III: The Revenge of the Sith started 1 January 2005, the first person in line is Jeff tweiten, he has camped out in front of the Cinerama Theater in Seattle, Washington. He will stay there until 19 May 2005, when the film opens. Is he the ultimate Star Wars Fanatic? according to his Site he isn't . He sees it as a unique experience and a last opportunity -- "Revenge of the Sith" is the final film in Lucas' space saga.

"It's about freedom," he explains. "To me, it's exercising my right as an American to do what I want to do, without hurting anybody."

He definitely is the first person in line.

So, what movie that you want to see, would you camp out for?

There is a chance of Flurries in My Mind...

Have you ever got a bad case of writers block, then the ideas start popping into your head like a snow storm? This happens to me like twenty times a year ( or every two years). right now i am dreading the coming storm. the nuerons have been to the stores buying snowblowers. I am working on a screenplay for an online movie idea that i have and suddenly at point of excitement, i run into a wall and knock myself unconcious. This sucks, Let me rephrase that last word, SUCKS. I hate when that happens. So I am debating whether i should scrap the idea or toss it in the hopper and bring it out for a retry, later. And no you can't know what is until i actually have the film shot and editted on this new mainboard and software that i got for my christmas and birthday.

Now if anyone is interested I am wanting a Digital Video Camera for my birthday... I know, I know it is good to want it builds character. I STILL WANT ONE, damn it.

see y'all later, I am gonna sulk in a corner of my mind...

I am in the office again preparing for the yearly event called tax season....

Yay Tax Season is here, I am getting set to do the taxes online again. Isn't it great that we are considered foriegn nationals on our own soil. Why we pay this unconstitutional effort is beyond me, The Income tax was origionlly set up to taxes foriegn corporations and workers operating on American soil. So why are the American people paying taxes? because the US Government couldn't pry the money out of the foriegn corp.s and workers hands. we complain about the tax codes when I am sure there is more than enough taxable income from illegal immigrants working our cheap jobs. go after the employers that hire these illegals that work cheap seize their accounts and make them cough up what they are short changing the US Goverment.

Now that rant is out of the way, now onto some other topic.

Go RAMS

Go RAMS!

Here I sit in the office......

Tanis is at work and here I sit alone in the office at home. I have finished the chores assigned to me for today (yes, I have assigned chores). So now I sit typing this post. I try to think of subjects that might interest the readers, all 5 of them anyway. I guess 5 is better than none at all. The day went by as if it was a blink of my eye. I took mac out for a walk this afternoon and now here i am sitting alone in the room waiting for tanis to come home from work to cook a warm meal and draw her a nice warm bath ( ineed to get some more candles for her.)

Right now I thinking on my future after I go to the hospital to fix my hernia. I want to go back to work as soon as I can after the recovery period. My profession is as an Armed Security Officer, it is the profesion thar has chosen me. I know that it is not the same as being a Police Officer, but I do so enjoy the work, and it is a necessary job in today's society. I also want to travel the Renaissance Festival Circuit with a small crew to perform my swordfighting show, this, though, isn't practical and it is a seasonal employment. Trying to get contracts is a very competive, and very exspensive.( the cost for insurance, weapon and equipment maintenance, costumes; vehicles gas food and lodging just to name a few) I have the show near completion then it is a matter to choreograph and block the fights and to create a audition dvd to send the renaissance faires and festivals, additional costs involving My computer and a non existant Digital Video Camera. With no employment this is not financially possible at the moment and just a dream.

I have alot of ideas that I would like to do, such as making a web movie involving my character, again that involves finances that currently don't exist for me at this moment. So currently I sit at home writing these ideas and playing the occaisional PC Game and writing my Ideas and Point Of Views in the computer because I think that is only place that they will live.

Volunteers in the Kansas City Area are welcome to contact me if they interested in swordfighting for fun and no profit, You must have your own gear and swords preferably Stage rapiers and cutlasses.

What do you think?

There I was ......

I woke up to the dogs whining, this is nothing new, as it is only natural to walk a dog in the morning so it doesn't do it's business in my office where it sleeps and quites possibly visits doggy porn sites in the wee hours of the morning when i am asleep. I get up and ask Tanis to help me get ready to walk the dogs, she grumbles at me "Why do you need help to get ready?"

"Because, hon', it's cold.' I said. Not only is it cold it is freakin' freezing. I put on a pair of sweat pants, tshirt, a thick pair of slacks, a sweat shirt, two pair socks, and my old combat boots with my pants bloused in them; this was the easy part. Now comes the part of putting on the winter wear, her part in assisting me. It is like preparing for a mission to outer space, starts with my insulted vest, next comes my fleece lined down filled winter jacket, next comes my heavy gore tex gloves with my jacket sleeves bloused in them, and last is the standard nit cap. I am now prepared for an EVA with the dog.

Tanis grabs the leash and attaches it to Mac Gyver, who's happy now that he gets to take me out for a walk, then she attaches the leash to me and attempts to take up the slack by wrapping it around hand a couple of times. We are ready for EVA, or so I thought. Tanis opens the door to the porch, Mac yanks me through the door to the porch door "heel mac." I say. Mac looks up to me with the happy doggy joy joy face. Tanis opens the porch door and out bounds Mac Gyver the slack slips out of my hand, after the classic cartoon pause I come flying out of the door. Did I forget to mention not only was it cold, but there was freezing rain the night before and now it was sleeting. Mac was a dog in need of deep relief and was moving like he was on fire, unfortunatley he was not hot enough to melt the ice I was now skiing on. I am sure the neighbors were very amused by the man skiing behind the dog screaming "heel Mac, Heeeeelll!" Yep I have been one for a good winter dog drag. after I have returned home from the event Tanis was there to help to unbundle me from my polar EVA.

After I was unbundled we went into our office and settled down to our repective place in the office to check our websites, E-mails, and games.when I stated "boy we're lucky that our power didn't go out like the other places here in Kansas City." Is it me or do the fates have a great survaillence system, no sooner than I made the statement the Fates sent a branch laden with frozen water molecules onto a powerline that was also laden with the same frozen water molecules thus knocking out the power to the block. The only thing I heard from the darkness behind me was " You had to say that, didn't you." About thirty minutes later the lights came back on and there was much rejoicing to the gods of utilities.

Yep it is another day in Kansas City, MO.

The United Nations, Helpful or Hinderance?

The United Nations, the big happy world family, the Family that wants everyone to get along in peace, harmony, love, and toleration of some reliatives discretionary genocide. How much peace has this organization brought to the world? How many atrocities have been stopped by this Organization's peace keepers? What has the United Nations actually done to prevent conflicts in the world? I don't see a any major sucesses under the UN's Belt. I think this is due to fact that they lack any real power to do anything but talk and make suggestions.

We pour our tax dollars into this world class fiasco only to hear them complain that we as americans are the hinderance to their Ideal world reform. We don't care enough to submit to their control of our every day affairs. That they are the solution to the world problems. They aren't the solution, (or is it resolution?), to the worlds problems; We the people are the solution we need to be able to communicate with each other better. Sometimes that communication requires that we use a very large stick to communicate more effectively to show what we mean so they don't mis interprat our meaning.

I don't think this organization would listen to the citizens of this world. I think that this is also a major fault with this organization, I think that organization needs to be elected by the people, not appointed by the governments of the world. that way it would truly represent the people of the world., if the these elected ambassodors fail in thier represention of the people then they face the consequences of their constituency. I that is asking a lot in our United Nations but that is the fairest thing i can think of to build a more perfect United Nations. As to how the United Nations operates now, the United States needs to withdraw from the organization until such time it can be fiixed.

Revision to the post 4 Januaary 2005...

Tanis's blog address Warrior Dragon this link should work.

Oh Yeah, I forgot to say this ......

It is My girlfriends B'Day today' Feel free to go to her site Warrior Dragon. Read some of her stories and wish her Happy Birthday. Thanks

Evan

My brain has cramped on two posts.........

i am trying to think of two post' at the same time, but I will organize my thoughts to make the stories more cohesive for comentary so here is a Topic to discuss:

Is the United States doing enough to help the tsunami victims in the south asia rim? Explain your answer.

Yep, it is now a political discussion in the us and the world.

My personal opinion that the United States is being guitled by the United Nations into providing more of our tax dollars than we can afford. It is bad enough to have $65 billion dollars of American Taxpayer Money to support an World Organization that has no real power to effect any change in the world. I think that our money would be better used in the providing our Armed Forces the equipment and pay that they ( the Armed Forces) deserve for the service they provide for us. I think that the United States is not stingy at all, I think that we do more than we should; yes I think that we care to much.

New Year Resolutions.... Do You Make Them or Not?

This is a topic that is asked yearly by every one in the MSM down to the man on the street, damn it, this is my blog so I am asking:

Do you make New Year resolutions? If so what is/are your Resolution(s) for the New Year? If you don't make New Years Resolutions, why not?

I personaly do not make Resolutions for the New Year, I have a very difficult time maintaining them, it is the same about promises I just don't make them, I mainly just do what is required of me to maintain my obligations.

Happy New Year

Evan
