Where is the United Nations Disaster Assistance for the United States?...
The United Nations has no assistance for the United States to help those affected by Hurricane Katrina's aftermath. We have provided aid to other nations at thier request and now they sit back and watch while we struggle to do our own disaster relief and their's as well. I say SCREW them, next time there is a major catastrophe in the World; We just tell them to deal with it on their own.

That's actually a pretty damn valid point.

p.s. - Want great free S3X?!
Just kidding.
Well, what kind of humanitary assitance do you need? We can send some elite soldiers to help pacifiying the area like in Irak. But first of all, let's talk about the oil we're gonna get...
Europeon,
The United nations Complains that The United States needs to do more in Humanitairian relief of natural Disasters, when in fact the United States does more about humantarian relief than most european nations do. So Europeon go back to what you do best and live off of your nanny state dole.

I guess that USA is bigger than any country in Europe, so doesn't seem rare to me.I'm sorry about you people, but you're not the only ones. Know about the floodings in central europe? In China? About the fires down in Portugal/Spain? The terrorist bombings because of Irak (aka oil's war)?
This is live, and everything is allright. You don't need more outside help, you just need to organize yourselfs! The second biggest army, and just thinking of star wars. Try to dry out the water with a big american flag.
Europeon,
We have contributed to Humanitarian aid in all of those situations occuring in Europe and Asia to the tune of nearly a Billion Dollars, or are you that blind.
The Iraq war was NOT about oil, if it was the price of our oil would be down and our domestic suplies would be up. The terrorist attacks that are occuring is about Islamofacist domination of the Iraqi citizens who are trying to create a nation that works for them. You rely upon liberal information that is spun with severe bias.

I allways had a hard time figuering out what liberal and republican means in USA. Who represents the left, who the right wing? Hard to tell, both politics are soooo similar. America, such a social country. And the weapon thingie, this really scares the hell out of me. And you even call it a constitutional right... what a bunch of old fashioned cowboys!
About the oil, nevermind. We all know it was because of that. Weapons of mass destruction... hi hi ho ho.
But nevertheless, the point was that you people need help. As far as I know, you even recieved offers from Cuba... quite funny I have to say.
I have to admit that the situation seems rather out of control. Sure some guns will help a lot. I'm very sorry about the people who died. So good luck, all the best and see you in the moon.
Europeon,
I never mentioned Political Affiliation, I only mentioned political Idealism liberals versaus conservitism there are liberal republicans as well as there are conseritive demacrats. I know that political idealim is something that you don't grasp because you have little or no ideals to hold to. Every American has the freedom to live and think as indiduals, and to speak out about the issues we hold dear. Appearantly you have no ideals otherwise you would have noticed that there are vast differances in liberal ideology and conserviative ideology.
The second amendment is a constitutional right for two reasons, 1.) It is for the people to Keep the government in line (do you or your people have the ability to over throw your Government if it becomes destructive to your rights? ) and 2.) For the people to have a means of self protection from the Criminal element.(The Government and its agents are under NO OBLIGATION to provide police protection to any indvidual, the purpose of the police or Sherriffs department is to enforce the law. The safety and security of the individual is the responsibility of the individual.- United States Supreme Court Ruling for Warren v. District of Columbia 1993) Of course the weapon thingie scares you, you are a coward who relies on a Government to protect you, that government isn't obligated to protect you by the way, from criminals. I own weapons and used my weapons to defend myself on four separate occaisions, the mere sight and sound of loading a firearm always makes a criminal think about his mortality. Criminals always prefer unarmed victims who won't fight back, It is so much easier for them to Harm and take what they wantfrom unarmed victims. (By the way Europeon, have you ever been a victim of a crime, have you fought back or do you just give them what they want and hope that they wouldn't hurt you physically or kill you?)
The offers from other nations started coming in well after I have written this post. (not that they read this post, I am Sure they Haven't. I am just a common American Citizen that speaks his mind and shares his thoughts with others.)
What? See me in the moon? Are you an medication or something?
Evan
Dear Americaon:
Well, too bad that police or whomever is not gonna protect you. That's exactly their job if they have to enforce the law. Shooting or hitting a guy (without a BIG reason to do so) should be pretty ilegal... So not allowing somebody to hurt you IS enforcing the law.
I've never been attacked by somebody with a gun, althought I don't consider myself a coward. If nearly every citizen could have one of those machines, I bet that I would have seen them: in the high school, in university, in the streets, in the disco, in a concert, in the local market, on the beach, in the mountains... and I have never seen a gun that didn't belong to a police/militar.The probability that somebody could attempt against my person with a gun is considerably small in my country. If it happens, too bad for me. It is more likely that I die from a lightening in a sunny day.
I'm aware that you own weapons.I will never come closer to your place. Who assures your (or whoever) neighbour that you (or whoever) won't get drunk ( or histeria, mental blindless, anger, can happen to everybody) and shoot somebody? Or that a kid won't find their parents guns and play around with them, eventualy killing somebody? Imagine any situations you want with a gun being fired because of an accident. In a weapon free country this would be utterly dificult.
In the other hand, violence calls for more violence. How many deads by fire gun last year in the states? You can divide by the population, take the statistics you like and you'll see that it is horribly large.
Would the statistics improve by banning weapons? Probably not this year, but if the weapon and violence free culture is spreaded, for sure it will in the years to come.A secure country is the one without guns. Crimes are the price we had to pay for living in socially and culturally undeveloped society. The "bad guys" in the majority of cases are people like you and me, but most of the time the necessity, the unfortunate familiar situation, poverty in general, drives them to crime.
Well, after all is your own business.
By the way, dear Americaon:
My only true ideals are: love, peace and the right to live. I would include freedom, but it seems to me that this word is corrupted in your country.I'm also an atheist.
Europe is much more diverse and rich in political ideas. Some of them are obviously wrong, fascism and other kinds of totalitarism. The ideas of fraternity, freedom and equality steam from the french revolution (I'm not french).
Our history text books are much more thick, full of examples of good and bad ideas. Thouroughly tested. The one that doesn't know history is condemned to repeat it, they say. Confused by consumism, technology and false morality, america lives in the 18th century.
